The Banksia Financial Group is a proud supporter of local and community events and initiatives. Banksia endeavours to spread our corporate sponsorship dollar over a range of platforms including sporting pursuits, education and learning, health, art and culture, heritage and the environment.
Each of Banksia’s regional branches has its own annual sponsorship allocation enabling them to address small scale local sponsorships.
Please submit requests in writing to your local Banksia branch 3 months in advance to allow adequate lead time to budget and plan support effectively. You will be advised of the outcome of your request in writing within 2 weeks of receipt of the proposal.
When preparing a submission please provide us with the following information to enable a quick and informed decision.
- does your organisation, members or group currently support Banksia’s business operations;
- is there an opportunity for Banksia to gain business through alliance with your event / organisation;
- background information of the event / organisation (including mission statement / goals);
- date and time of the event (where relevant);
- is the request one off or annual;
- will Banksia be sole financial services sponsor?;
- location of event (unfortunately due to restricted budget we are unable to support events outside of our regional locations);
- number of expected attendees / members (based on historical data where possible);
- amount of sponsorship requested;
- what potential benefits will Banksia receive for their involvement?
Unfortunately Banksia receives more requests of merit than we are able to support and cannot guarantee to adopt your proposal.
