The Banksia Financial Group (Banksia) was formed through the amalgamation of a number of Victorian based debenture companies and mortgage funds, some of which had been operating since the early 1900's.
The Banksia Financial Group commenced operations on 1 July 1999, and is proud to be wholly Australian owned.
With in excess of 70 staff, Banksia has built a reputation for delivering excellent service and innovative financial products at competitive rates. The head office is located at 415 Bourke Street, Melbourne with regional offices in a number of locations including our administration centre at Kyabram, Victoria and loan centre in metropolitan Adelaide.
The Banksia Financial Group is a substantial mortgage fund manager. As at 1 January 2008 funds under management exceeded $560 million.
Banksia specialises in fixed interest mortgage management principally operating through Banksia Mortgages Limited and Banksia Securities Limited. Banksia Mortgages Limited is the licensed responsible entity for the Banksia Mortgage Fund and the mortgage administration manager for the group, whilst Banksia Securities Limited is a licensed investment company with the purpose of raising funds for mortgage lending.
Banksia is a substantial Commercial and Agri lender with particular focus on commercial, industrial and rural lending up to $10 million. Our commitment is to provide clients with fast, personalised service and attractive products.
The quality of loan administration is an important issue and something that many borrowers may overlook when selecting a provider. In June 2003, Banksia Mortgages Limited became the first commercial loan servicer in Australia to be assigned a servicer ranking by international ratings agency Standard and Poor's and included on their Global Select Server List following an extensive evaluation.
